The Duchess, Natalia Lopez de Quintana is a Professional Make-up Artist and native of South Florida living in NYC. Born in Miami to a boisterous and creative family, Natalia was encouraged from a young age to pursue her dreams and cultivate her art. The youngest of three girls, Natalia draws inspiration from her sisters’ best attributes, a former Ballet Dancer and current Lawyer, Krystina’s grace and elegance and her sister, a Tattoo Artist at Rock-A-Billy, Ft. Lauderdale, Nicole’s tremendous artistic vision and attitude as well as a number of childhood characters and classic pin-up photography not to mention the countless tea parties with the dolls her parents, Manny and Meg, gave her as a child.
Natalia has been passionate about make-up since she was able to speak. Constantly collecting Bonnie Bell lip glosses and playing with mommy’s make-up, her fondest memories are of watching her big sister getting ready for recitals and waiting for her to leave the room so she could try on her blush and “vogue” for the mirror. Natalia’s glass-half-full and effervescent attitude make her a joy to work with and she thrives on ensuring her clients are relaxed and contented. When on-set for a photo shoot, Natalia always makes sure to stick around for the whole shoot for any touch-ups and nose powdering… and of course, photo directing, to help the models out of their shell and into some kick-ass poses.
